Apple has just released a 2.2.1 update for the iPhone and iPod Touch. According to their spec site, the update includes bug fixes and improvements for the following:
- Improved general stability of Safari
- Fixed issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll
The update seems a little miniscule unless there’s a lot more going on under the hood than Apple is letting on. Hopefully this update will improve user experience if you’re having issues with Safari. We’ll keep you posted as new updates come in.
The update was several hundred megs, so it seems like there is a bit more going on under the hood. Either they’re preparing something or they are making improvements that are too small to bother to mention. Who knows?
