There is a good chance that Apple will be revealing new MacBooks and MacBook Pros on October 14th, but another intriguing rumor has been circulating about the possibility of a re-designed Mac Mini. iPhone Savior reports that their sources have indicated that Apple’s “one more thing” could be something code-named “Brick” which would be a “super-sized Mac Mini or a Mac Mini Pro of sorts”.
Even though the release of this super-charged Mac Mini is just a rumor at this point, it has been over 14 months since the Mac Mini has seen any type of refresh (minor or major). That being said, it could very well be due for a makeover next month. We personally think the new “Brick” would be a welcome addition to the line-up, however, some are suggesting that the device could actually be the fabled Tablet Mac that Mac nerds have been lusting after for several years now.
Time will tell, but either way, we’re making some room on our credit card for the new products that are announced in a few short weeks!
