Sirius XM radio app for iPhone coming soon?

A new Sirius XM application is in production for the iPhone and is currently being tested on the device as we speak. The team responsible for development of the app is GeeksToolBox (part of the StreamSmart project) and they are currently working to develop the streaming of Sirius, XM, and Internet radio to multiple platforms — including the iPhone. Going under the name “StarPlayr“, the app is currently in alpha and features leaked previously are subject to change.

Below are some pictures courtesy of MacNN that show screenshots of the application. There are some concerns with battery life though, but for now, the app has been “performing very well” according to testers. Even if some of these features don’t make it to the final release, it’s easy to see the potential this app could have. Here’s to Stern on the iPhone!
