Take screenshots directly on your iPhone

One of the coolest things about the new iPhone 2.0 software is the ability to grab screenshots from your phone. Simply hold down the Home button and press the On/Off button on the top of the phone. You will see the screen “flash” and the capture will be added to you iPhoto library. From there, you can share the screenshot with friends or upload it to an online photo sharing site for the world to see. There’s even an iPhone screenshot Flickr pool where people are uploading all sorts of great images. Go on, don’t be shy — get capping!

Yeah, this is a great resource to take a quick snapshot of what your seeing while developing. However, if you’re doing a bunch of local development work, you might want to download the iPhone SDK and take advantage of the iPhone Simulator. Follow the install instructions here and you should be well on your way.

    Thanks for the comment!
