According to AppleInsider, Target stores will join Best Buy as a retailer selling Apple TV. As early as the end of this month, customers can expect to see Apple TV in local Targets store and will begin to receive monthly shipments of an undisclosed amount of devices.
There has yet to be any conformation from Apple’s camp on this rumor or whether or not there will be any floor displays or how many stores will get their hands on selling the 40GB wireless media streamer.
It will be interesting to see how Apple TV’s sell at Target stores, because Best Buy stores have had a difficult time. “We did receive three Apple TV’s, and still have the same three. Not selling too well at our store,” said a representative from a Best Buy store.
As of right now, Target is only advertising the sale of Apple TV’s on its website.
