For the second time ever, Apple has launched an album sale on iTunes. While the sale does not include chart topping albums, you can get your hands on some great music from The Beach Boys, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Prince, and others for just $7.99 an album!
This sale comes just after the recording industry reported a drop in sales of compact discs by 13%. In order to try and fix that deficit, Apple decided to create the sale in hopes that the number of digital albums sold would double and make everyone happy.
Other artists albums that are up for sale include: Nirvana, U2, Mary J. Blige, Smashing Pumkins, The Police, Oasis, Nas, Beastie Boys, R.E.M., Guns N’ Roses, Jane’s Addiction, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis, Jonny Cash, The Grateful Dead, Billy Joel and Pink Floyd.
