According to AppleInsider, Apple TV will be available to purchase at Best Buy stores across the U.S. starting this week.
A source at CNet News stated that Best Buy will be given 3,000 Apple TV’s to sell at its 822 stores, roughly 5 devices will be sold at each location nationwide.
“Though there aren’t many other consumer electronics stores that sell Mac computers, this does give Best Buy an advantage over the numerous outlets that carry iPod,” said News.com.
Apple Inc. and Best Buy stores have been working together for a pilot program to test the popularity and sales of Apple products at the retail store.
