After a small delay in February, Apple Inc. will finally begin shipping the much anticipated Apple TV starting today.
Customers who pre-ordered the wireless streaming media device began receiving their shipping confirmation notices sometime last and can expect to see their Apple TV’s by March 23rd, 2007. Apple’s website is now selling the device with free shipping and advertising that the shipments should arrive within 3 to 5 business days.
Apple TV allows users to watch or download movies, TV shows, music, create podcasts, and look at personal photos. The device comes with its own remote and has a 40 GB hard drive that can hold up for 50 hrs of video content. Currently, Apple TV is being sold for $299.
