While it has been widely reported that Steve Jobs was going to offer new details about the iTV this week at MacWorld Conference 2007 in San Francisco, it looks like the iTV will not make its official debut until late January or early February.
According to MacRumors, the delay is a result of a few software glitches that still need to be worked out on Apple’s behalf. Apple wanted to get all the kinks worked out before the conference so it could unveil the iTV at the show, but unfortunately it just wasn’t in the cards. It has been reported that the software for the iTV is a scaled down version of the Mac OS X, which might also be used for the upcoming phone from Apple.
