New Chrysler iPod Integration Kits

Chrysler’s equipment manufacturer, Mopar, announced today that it will increase the availability of iPod integration kits in various new 2006 factory built Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge vehicle sound systems.

Mopar created integration kits that install a cable port in the cars glove box that connects and plays music through the stereo. In addition, the kit charges your iPod while music is playing or while it is turned off. The kit also features capabilities to have track titles, artists, and play list navigation be shown on the radio display face.

The integration kit can work with iPod, iPod Mini, iPod Nano, as well as video iPods. Prices vary between $139 - $215 depending on the kit that is required for particular vehicle models and can be purchased and installed at local Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge dealerships.
