According to MacRumors, there has been a new job posting on Apple’s website that alludes to the possible future development of iPod Hi Fi Speaker systems.
Currently, the iPod Hi Fi Speakers are resting at the number 4 spot for most popular iPod speakers and are coming in at second in revenue. The dockable iPod Hi Fi Speakers are running for about $349. It was alluded a few months ago by AppleInsider claimed that there might be a miniature and less exspensive version of the speakers being created, but that the model failed to proceed past the test building phase.
The formal job description seeks a, “Acoustic Engineer who will be responsible for the design and development of many aspects of consumer loudspeaker systems such as Apple’s Hi Fi - including enclosure design, passive and active filter design, transducer design, and design validation.”
