iPod Shuffle Launches



Consumers, who placed an order for the second generation iPod shuffle that was announced on September 12th, can expect that shipment to arrive sooner rather than later.

There were reports stating the shipments would be delayed through November, but customers who order the redesigned miniature shuffle have received shipment confirmation emails. “I placed my order immediately after Apple’s press event, about five minutes after the Apple online store came back online,” said one customer.

The new shuffle is only one inch in height and can clip on to anything, making it considerably smaller than the original shuffle. The miniaturized shuffle and has a capacity of 1 GB, or about 240 songs, in addition to a built in rechargeable lithium battery that lasts up to 12 hours.
