A recent post on MacTelChat regarding iPhoto 6.0.5 suggests that there is evidence that the program might be gearing up for integration into Google Maps. There are screen shots of a “Photo Info” screen complete with GPS Longitude, Latitude, and Altitude fields alongside a hidden Show button that allegedly links to Google Maps. Using the coordinates, clicking the Show button could show the user the exact location a particular picture was taken. This could be one of the first collaborations between Apple and Google since Google CEO Eric Schimdt joined Apple’s Board of Directors back in August.
