AppleInsider is reporting that Apple sent out a digital invitation to the US media, inviting them to a special event on September 12th (see previous Rumor). The invitation included the words “It’s Showtime,” a centered Apple logo, and several spotlights randomly moving across it.
The event, slated for 10 AM PDT at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Fran, is where Apple is expected to reveal its latest Digital Media strategy to the public. Expect topics to include the newly updated iMacs, iPods, possibly iTunes Movies, and more.
