Mac Mini Update?

Think Secret is reporting that the Mac Mini’s are getting a speed increase in the not so distant future. The update will essentially get rid of the Core Solo product from Apple’s product line, replacing it with the 1.66 GHz Core Duo Mini. The 1.66 GHz will now be the base model and Apple is planning on adding a new higher end 1.83 GHz Core Duo Mini to the mix. Since previous changes to the Mac Mini were never announced, experts aren’t expecting an official announcement from Apple. However, since the systems are allegedly ready for production, they could be released in the next several weeks.
